Size is the only decision here — the marigold design and the reversible construction are the same in all three. Decide by the piece of furniture, not by the room.

Choose	If this sounds like you
150 × 200 cm	A sofa throw for one person, a cover for a single bed, or something to fold across an armchair. The size you want if it is mainly decorative and occasionally useful.
200 × 230 cm	You want it to cover a double or queen bed as a top layer, with enough at the sides that it doesn't stop dead at the mattress edge.

Will a strong colour like marigold hold up in the wash?

Warm yellows and oranges are the shades most likely to release dye on a first cycle, so the first wash matters more here than it would on a grey blanket.

A cold gentle cycle on its own, especially the first time. Line dry out of direct sun, or tumble on the lowest setting and take it out slightly damp.	Hot water, bleach, and drying it pegged out in full sun for a day — that combination fades warm tones faster than anything else you could do to it.

Fold or spread it while faintly damp and it settles flat without an iron. The step people skip: the solo first wash. It takes one extra cycle and it is a great deal simpler than explaining why the white sheets in the same load are now a gentle apricot.

If a thread loosens, snip it level with the surface — pulling it distorts the weave on both faces at once.
