What size do I need, and which Roman shade?

Size is the choice that matters — pick it off the job, not off the bed size. The five Roman colours are all muted neutrals, so whichever you land on will sit with what you already own.

100 × 150 cm	One person on the couch. Long enough to cover you from shoulders to feet without a heap of extra fabric on the floor.
150 × 200 cm	The everyday throw. Covers two people sitting up, or one person fully spread out, and folds neatly over the arm of a sofa when it's not in use.
180 × 200 cm	A top layer on a bed rather than a throw — wide enough that it doesn't slide off one side the moment someone turns over.
200 × 230 cm	Two adults under one blanket, or a bed you want fully covered with overhang on both sides. The one to pick if sharing is the point.

When in doubt between two sizes, go up. Nobody has ever complained that a blanket was too big.

Will plush stay soft, or go matted and staticky?

Plush doesn't wear out — it gets ruined by heat and softener. Both of those flatten the fibre tips permanently, and once the pile mats there's no bringing it back. Everything else about looking after this is easy.
