Which colour and size am I choosing?

Both faces are patterned, so whichever colour you pick you are really getting two looks. Size first: 150 × 200 cm is a throw, 200 × 230 cm covers a bed.

How much does the reversible side actually change things?

More than you would expect, and it is the reason this survives a redecoration. One face is the leaf pattern; flip it and you get the counter-side of the same weave — same colours, inverted balance, a quieter or bolder version depending on which way up it lands.

Woven, not printed — and why that decides the lifespan

The leaves here are built from the yarn rather than stamped onto finished cloth. That distinction is invisible on day one and obvious in year three. A printed blanket has its design sitting on the surface, where every wash cycle abrades it a little; eventually the pattern goes soft-edged and the colours flatten. A woven design cannot fade off, because there is no layer to lose. The colour goes all the way through to the reverse, which is also what makes a genuinely reversible piece possible in the first place.

Weaving the pattern also gives it a physical edge. Run your hand over it and you can feel where the leaves sit against the ground. That slight relief is what stops a large botanical motif looking like wallpaper on fabric.
