Which of the three sizes fits my bed?

Match the width to your mattress plus the drop you want down each side — the length looks after itself. Two of the three sizes share a 94-inch length, so the real choice between them is how far the coverlet hangs, not how far it reaches down the bed.

A coverlet isn't a duvet — will it actually be warm enough?

Warm enough for most of the year, and deliberately not warm enough for the coldest months on its own. That's the point of a coverlet: it's a lighter layer that works alone in mild weather and layers under or over something heavier in winter.

Cold gentle machine wash, low tumble or line dry, and give it room in the drum. The step people skip: shake it out and pull the corners square before it dries. A coverlet dried in a heap keeps a permanent set of diagonal creases that no amount of smoothing on the bed will fix.
