Which colour, and does it change anything?

It changes nothing about how cool it feels — all five are the same blanket. What it changes is whether the thing ends up on top of the bed in daylight or shoved in a cupboard until nightfall.

Choose If this sounds like you
Glacier Mist Pale blue-white. You want the bed to look cold before you even touch it, and your bedroom is white and grey already.
Blush Petal Warm soft pink. The one that stops the bed looking clinical, which matters if the blanket lives on display all summer.
Lavender Dream Muted violet. Reads calm rather than sweet, and works with grey bedding without matching it exactly.
Cool Eucalyptus Soft green. The pick for a room with plants and timber, and the least likely of the five to look like hospital linen.
Moonlit Sage Deeper grey-green. The most forgiving colour here — the one to choose if this blanket is also going to end up on the sofa.

Choose 150 × 200 cm if one person uses it, 200 × 230 cm if two people share or you want it draping over the sides of a double.

Is it cold, or just “not hot”?

It feels cool to the touch and it stays cool as long as air can move around it — that second half is the bit nobody explains. A cooling blanket sandwiched under a thick comforter has nothing to dump heat into and will warm up like any other fabric.

    Works for Avoid
Sleeping as the only layer in summer, or as the layer against your skin with a lighter cover over it Burying it under a heavy winter duvet and expecting it to still feel cold
Cool gentle machine wash, mild detergent, low spin, line dry out of direct sun Fabric softener, dryer sheets, hot water, hot tumble drying, ironing the face

Wash it cool and give it a second rinse. Detergent residue is the single most common reason a cooling blanket stops feeling cool — the film sits between the smooth surface and your skin, and that surface contact is the whole mechanism. Softener does the same thing on purpose, so skip it entirely.

The cold side of the pillow, but it is the whole bed and it does not run out.

Everyone knows the flip. You turn the pillow over, you get about ninety seconds of relief, and then that side is as warm as the first one. Sleeping hot is a series of those ninety-second wins all night. The Forevercool Cooling Blanket™️ is built around removing the need to flip anything: a smooth, dense surface that pulls heat away on contact and keeps doing it as you move around under it.

How a blanket makes you colder instead of warmer

Ordinary bedding works by trapping air. Loft, pile, fill — all of it exists to hold a layer of still, warm air against your body. A cooling blanket is designed to do the opposite: the surface is flat and smooth so it makes maximum contact with skin, and dense enough to conduct heat out of you and spread it across the whole sheet rather than pooling it where you are lying.

That is why the first second under it feels genuinely cold, and it is also why the effect renews when you shift position — you move onto a section of fabric that has already dumped its heat into the room.

The other half is that it does not insulate. Because there is no loft to trap air, body heat that would normally build up under a comforter has somewhere to go. For anyone dealing with night sweats, a partner who runs ten degrees warmer, or a bedroom that holds the day's heat until midnight, that is the difference between waking at three and not waking at all.

    The two sizes

    • 150 × 200 cm — one person. Covers a single sleeper fully, and light enough to keep as a summer sofa layer as well.
    • 200 × 230 cm — shared. Wide enough for two, and long enough to hang over the sides of a double rather than stopping level with the mattress.
