Half sleeves — is that going to be warm enough?

It depends on when you wear it, and the short sleeve is a feature rather than a compromise. Full-length towelling sleeves are the reason most robes get abandoned by November and never worn in July — they soak up water at the cuff and stay wet all morning.

Wash warm on gentle, tumble low or line dry, and hang it on a hook by the shoulders rather than folding it damp. Hanging it properly is the bit everyone skips — a cotton robe left in a heap on the bathroom floor doesn't dry, and by day three it smells like it.
